Lead teachers prioritize maintaining quality standards, providing a safe and appropriate learning environment, observing and evaluating child development, implementing curriculum and overseeing classroom organization and cleanliness.  The lead teacher of each classroom is responsible for supervising assistant teachers, floaters, and volunteers in their classroom.  Ideal candidates have the ability to interact well with people of diverse backgrounds and levels of experience.
